Cameron Randall is an interdisciplinary artist based in London. Favouring a curatorial approach to his practice, he enframes found original materials, contextualising and synthesising them into a different kind of logic. Objects, environmental recordings, Instagram videos, and samples become cultural signs or signifiers, and through their dialogue, a distinctive language emerges. He is currently working on his debut EP, which will be released later this year. Previous work has involved sculpture, algorithms, sound, moving image, text, and installation. His writing has been published in the academic art journal ‘Le Grand K’, and he has performed live as part of the Science Museum Lates. He is a co-founder and contributor to the experimental music events In Sonority and Try Dancing. email: cameron.x.randall@gmail.com |
